Labeotropheus Trewavasae

This fish is called 'the
Smurf' by my wife due to its mouth. The mouth is designed to graze algae directly of the rocks. Its one of the bigger mbuna's and its size can reach 15 cm for the male 13 for the female. Its found in the rockbiotope. They vary alot depending on where in the lake they come from. This particular variant is the Thumbi West variant. Their broodsize is usually around 30.
